The Bunny Sandwich Collective and Brewer's Berlin Walking Tours  ask how tourists can lessen their environmental impact while on vacation.

Together, we are working on a project that uses recreation as a vital element for sustainable living; for this project tourists visit a specially constructed 'Schrebergarten' in the outskirts of the city as a method of creating a more environmentally friendly Berlin tourism. 

With green spaces ever-shrinking, community gardens gain higher importance in the future as they easily provide sanctuary and refuge amidst the hectic pace of urban life.  In time, gardens will become primary tourist attractions.   In partnership with Brewer’s Berlin Tour Company, Berlin citizens and foreign tourists alike can vacation during the summer with walking tours of a Bunny Sandwich Collective Schrebergarten designed to educate tourists about Germany’s historic Schrebergartens and their potential for future green living.  These tours will be accompanied with Mobile Recreation Units that let tourists experiment with different sports gear that’s been retrofitted for tiny garden spaces.
